OTP Discussion, How true is #Troyler? What happened there? (BLOGGERS CHOICE)

OTP: "One true pairing"
big in the YouTube world, because some people are just hands down perfect for each other, #Troyler will always be my OTP but Zalfie and Shisa is pretty close.
  OK they technically
aren't even together, I mean I think they were at one point but, they would be perfect for each other. PRETTY SURE THEY WERE AT ONE POINT??!!!

Here is where things get shady, do you see the title of that video -__-

They have answered questions of being together and never denied, although Tyler has stated that Troye is kinda young for him.

Troye is 19, and Tyler is 25. Australia native Troye Sivan with brown hair and blue eyes, and Michigan born Tyler with lavender hair and glasses.

So is this OTP speculation or actual relationship? well Troye has credited his song "Gasoline" on his new EP to be "Most personal" and was written about when things ended with these two. They friendship hasnt been cast into YouTube since its been more Low-key (If even still there) neither have said either name on day to day vlogs or major videos but I know we'll all see when august rolls around and its time for "Auguest" and Tyler has 30 days of friends, will Troye be one of them?

How to get into YouTube

Quick and easy steps to jump into YouTube!
1.)    Getting familiar with YouTube
Look at videos. See exactly what you like, and this can be a broad spectrum but it makes things fun and easy. Subscribe to other people talking about what you like.  Have something to add, take your own twist on your videos. See how regularly they release content, see how they got started, why they got started and get inspired. Talk about your favorite YouTubers, talk to them; this seems crazy but you can often reach them on many social Medias. YouTube isn’t a competition, everyone wants everyone to do good. Keep that in mind.

2.)    Get your set up
You need a camera, and depending on what you want to do you might need lights and whatever other supplies. Like beauty gurus need makeup or a snow boarder trying to get people to see his new tricks needs a go pro. Have a clue on what you’re going to say, you don’t have to know every word but know your topic inside and out. Get your space, have your time to be efficient, and edit properly. Keep positivity constantly flowing! Know when you you’re on a sensitive topic, know the other perspective, say your opinion but keep it diplomatic or you’ll have a war on your channel. Soon you’ll gain subscribers, which means they’ll check your channel regularly.

3.)    Get your niche
Maybe it’s a greeting or outro or just bubbly little things you say, but people love that raw personality factor and catch on to things repeated. Marcus butler has his signature greeting of Hell-lowwwwww and its bubbly and him. Although you want something to make you you and stand out, don’t make something up; stay you 100% of the time. Maybe its in your editing! Maybe you jump from shot to shot. Maybe you make original songs, poems, paintings. Maybe you talk about your day, perfect. Yes I want to know where you bought that red lipstick it looks great on you! You went to Italy and filmed it all? Amazing I’m subscribing.

4.)    Better be confident
So this is a tough one, I’m not saying you have to be happy go-lucky but people respond better to happy videos.  There are a lot of mean people on the internet, it’s just fact. You be you, they don’t really know you they’re just trying to be mean. Take corrective criticism, and use it but don’t take hate comments to heart; even the biggest most popular YouTubers get hate, it comes with the territory. Be confident though, you don’t have to reply, you don’t have to fight. Block, Block, Block.

5.)    Start recording!
Your videos are going to be bad, only because you’re going to improve with experience so much! Start recording, find your flare, gaining viewers that like you for you. Make a career out of something you love to do. Just go for it, fail, do it again. Make your videos as great as you can and always try to do better. This is complete trial and error, and that ok. When you get the hang of things they’ll be smoother than water.

I know you want to know how to get into YouTube, but know when you want to leave and your fan base grows you are not obligated to stay. Too many YouTubers feel chained to their channel; you aren’t even chained to your topic! Its ok to change, add channels, switch up content; whatever makes you happy!

Non-Fictional Blog post: success rooted in youtube

Shane Dawson started on YouTube and has since had movie deals, television deals, and book deals. Shane is a daily vlogger, parody maker and his channel offers news reports and challenge videos, everyday stuff, and original music videos. He is currently on a book tour with his book I Hate My Selfie and is touring hot spots of the U.S. His girlfriend Lisa is also a YouTube as Lisbug and they often make the cutest “shisa” videos. Lisa has also had amazing job opportunities through YouTube and is even working with yahoo on a web show.
Superfruit is a YouTube channel of two friends Scotty Hoying and Mitch Grassi and they are in a acapella group called Penatonix and had a Christmas album be on the top charts all year round, and won a Grammy this year. They have weekly favorites and will even tell you there song pick of the week. Penatonix has celebrity fans including Miley Cyrus and more. Penatonix is a trail blazing group, with chart topping hits and spreads much of their music on YouTube; Also creating amazing music videos with original ideas and their own signature flare.
Mamrie hart is a YouTuber, who makes drinks and has a web series called You deserve a drink! She has another web series called Hey USA! With Grace Helbig and gets to travel all around America to film. They also made a movie together called Camp Takoda.  She also has a spin off YouTube deserve a drink where she has YouTube stars and its super fun and cute with her countless outrageous puns.
Troye Sivan is a YouTuber whose fame is actually rooted when he was being shipped with Tyler Oakley (we all know they dated ;) on YouTube, before YouTube he was actually small town actor in Australia. He is now more credited for his EP TRXYE, releasing singles like “happy little pill” and “gasoline”. Troye is not a regular YouTuber, he doesn’t have a schedule on when he releases content, he just kind of does. Which for the viewer is extremely frustrating for someone who releases great videos every once in a blue moon. Like his videos are bomb, but with working on his album his YouTube career is suffering.
Colleen Ballinger or better known as Miranda sings is a parody YouTuber who doubles as a crazy, innocent, dumb girl with crazy lipstick that thinks she can sing. She has a book, 3.5 million subscribers and 406 videos. She was on True life: I’m famous online where she talked with the struggle of uploading content regularly and the burden it puts on her relationship. I don’t like her, which is really odd I know because she’s really well-known but her double personality isn’t cute. I don’t like her overbearing personality and it doesn’t make me laugh, I do however like her own personal vlogs where she is colleen. She’s got way more subscribers on “Miranda’s” channel though, and I understand but it’s not for me.

Max no sleeves is a YouTuber from Boston but moved out to LA with his girlfriend at the time Jenna Mowrey or Jenna marbles, and can COMPLETELY thank her for his YouTube career and has. He even says he wouldn’t have started if it wasn’t for her, but no one would even know his name to be honest. Max is awesome but as soon as he and Jenna split he kind of fizzled out. His content is still good, fun videos, relatable, but he lost all of Jenna’s audience, which is the whole web. He honestly deserves more credit his Snapchat is hilarious and his YouTube channel is totally awesome but lacks an audience.

Review of Girl Online by Zoe Sugg

Girl Online is a debut novel, and a best-seller written by Zoe Sugg.  If you don’t know Zoe Sugg you probably don’t know YouTube. She started off by blogging to a handful of followers and now has a wide spread following all over the world and is known for being a part of the British crew of YouTube. Zoe is 24 years old and is a makeup guru and daily vlog/blogger. Many think that this book wasn’t as good as the hype it was given, others are mad about her not actually writing the book and signing her name to this “ghostwritten” book. Many said her YouTube career is really what they’re promoting and that this book is “as sugary as a cupcake”.

Okay, I agree with all the above but this book also strongly promotes self-acceptance and a much younger audience then the people doing these reviews. It’s a book by Penguin Publishing, the audience is completely directed towards younger teens, more like pre-teens. In no way was this meant for a 25 year olds review, even as a 16 year old I feel out of the loop. I know Zoella as a YouTuber, and I couldn’t see her as an author type. She has anxiety and openly talks about it in both the book and on her channel. This book has both American English and British English, but manly has British slang. I love the way it’s written, but I can’t credit Zoella on that.

The main character in this book is Penny, a teen coping with cripplingly awkward adolescence and also juggling her online life.  She deals with cyberbullies and rude friends who post videos of her flashing her “knickers” at a school play. This book deals with big issues that teens face and I completely respect Zoe for supporting them. Penny’s best friend Elliot has trouble with his family after her tells them he’s gay, Penny has anxiety, penny gets cyber bullied; all of these are real thing teens face. I would rather have girls looking up to Zoe than any other American pop icon, and it’s easy to know why after reading this book. Although at times this book seems completely hypocritical, Girl Online has good advice on what to not share online but Zoe Sugg has her entire career online and started there by sharing personal details on the internet. “Even though I still don’t really know very much about Noah, on some deeper level it feels like I’ve known him forever,” sighs Penny. “Is this what it means when people talk about meeting their soulmate?”

“I get the sudden urge to write a blog post.”

Go figure. This is typical internet sugar plum princess, share your feeling with a million strangers.
I really like what this book stands for, but I hated the book and that’s okay because in no way was this aimed for my liking. This book makes me feel old, I feel like every page should have pictures of unicorns or sparkles.  Zoe has a girly young personality, which shines through in this book whether she wrote it or not; it screams Zoella. I think it cool she’s getting book deals and opportunities through YouTube, she’s doing monumental things and is launching a career more than just YouTube. Okay, now let’s slow down for a second, to those who think Zoe is some no name with no experience in book writing and came from nowhere with her YouTube, she was an actress.
Yeah I know…

She starred in J.K Rowling’s harry potter movies and was an extra in most of them. She also topped all of her books for best sellers.

Poem on vlogging

Vlog, vlog come to stay

Take your camera on a rainy day

Show us how you go and play

On your channel we shall stay

Waiting to hear about your day

Ever Wednesday December to May

Counting down every single day

See you next time! Is what you’ll say

I’ll sit and wait until Wednesday

To hear what YouTube has to say

I hope it rains I always pray

To see how my friends vlog their day!

NFL Is signing with more than just players!

Wait YouTube is the NFL signing a partnership with YouTube and even getting its own channel?  ”There is no more valuable property in television than the National Football League, and there is no bigger video hub on the Internet than YouTube. Now, the two have agreed to join forces to take over the world – or something like that” Says entertainment today. This will increase users on YouTube and even fans of the NFL. Joining these two hubs together will make it easier to access highlights, plays, and bad calls. ;)

“The NFL has announced a partnership with Google that will give the league something of a preferred status on the world’s most powerful search engine. Users that search, for instance, “Ravens Steelers” into their Google search box will be taken to game highlights on the NFL’s official YouTube channel. This allows the league to take the driver’s seat in terms of its own copyrighted content being posted on YouTube, and gives fans a reliable source to find highlights on YouTube – rather than waiting for “steelersfan1997″ to post highlights” Continues entertainment today. American football is going more global then it ever has before, everyone in the world can access google, every smart phone, every computer. IT’S TAKING OVERRRRRR.

“The new partnership will also allow the NFL to share in ad revenue that Google generates on YouTube videos. Google has also agreed to promote the NFL on YouTube and elsewhere, and provide expanded search results on the all-important Google search bar.” The Promo alone is worth this deal, but no they’re also making big bucks off it too. This is in my opinion the smartest move the NFL could ever make especially right before Super Bowl.

“The new partnership makes the NFL the most accessible entity in American entertainment today. The league now has partnerships with Disney (ESPN), NewsCorp (Fox), Viacom (CBS), Comcast (NBC) and Google. It doesn’t get any bigger than that.” So basically football is taking over the world, and YouTube isn’t the start or the finish but a major mile stone. Why did they sign with Disney? Are they going to have Richard Sherman cussing out some fourth grader and the jumping on a trampoline drawing mouse ears into the sky...? I think not.
